Inglot Matte Collection AMC Eyeliner Gel - 77

I've been a fan of eyeliner since about 14/15 so  I've tried and tested a lot of different types and brands. Gel has fast become my favourite type to use and I hit eyeliner gold when I bought this little beauty. I first heard about Inglot liner when watching LittleKiva, she is one of my favourite make up artists on youtube and I respect her opinions on products as she is normally spot on. I couldn't contain my excitement when Inglot finally started allow you to order online.

I'm a huge fan of 1950's pin up make up and sometimes I think that's the only make up I wear. Black winged eyeliner is a big part of the 'look' and in the past I've been frustrated with other types of liners. Pencils smudge and don't give you a clean line, liquids flake, felt liners are no where near as good in colour and some gels have a tendency to fade and flake. Obviously, not EVERY liner is guilty of these things but it takes a lot of trial and error to find a good product that works for you.

For winged liner my preferred choice is gel, I've tried a few but nothing has come close to Inglot. The great thing about this liner is that it's waterproof, when you apply it it's there right up until you take it off. Lasting power is something I've always had problems with so this is the main things I love. Colour payoff is also another positive about this product, I bought number 77 which is jet black which stays this colour until removed with no fading, smudging or flaking.

The only downfall of Inglot gel liner is removal. Just like waterproof mascara it can be a bit of a nightmare to take off, especially if your tired and just want to climb in to bed. The best method of removal I have found is an oil based cleanser or make up remover. Gently using one of these with warm water will remove the liner with no scrubbing or extra pressure to the eye area.
