Nuxe Reve de Miel Lip Balm

Nuxe Reve de Miel Lip Balm - £9.50
I'm a total lip balm junkie, it's ridiculous! I'm not sure why I need so many but I can't help myself. When I heard Lisa Eldridge (Queen of skincare) talk about this Nuxe lip balm and mention it was matte I couldn't resist the urge. I love the 'grown up' chunky glass jar and how it sits pretty on my shelf when it's not roaming around my bag. The scent isn't really the best, to me it smells of oranges but not chocolate orange, but personally I don't find it offensive. As this lip balm is so thick you need a tiny bit otherwise it becomes a bit annoying and gloopy, a little goes a long way. I have appreciated this as I'm not in the habit of spending £9.50 on 15g of lip balm haha.

The lip balm itself is gorgeous, it's thick and creamy but manages to still stay matte. I like to use a little of this on before applying lipstick when I'm not wearing it alone to avoid the winter cracked lipstick look. I also use this before bed and the majority of the time it's still there when I wake up which is pretty impressive staying power. Unlike a lot of other lip balms I own that look and smell nice, this gets to work straight away. A few times I have been about in the cold and my lips have started to sting, I have applied this and it's gone with in an hour. If you suffer with 'I look like I've been drinking Cherryade' syndrome, you will understand my enthusiasm haha. I will re purchase this when it eventually runs out, along with Flexitol, this has become a favourite, maybe now it is time to stop hoarding lip balms. Maybe....

  2. I love lip balms too so I understand why you love them. I love lip balms simply because I usually experiences dry out lips and I hate the feeling. So to prevent this, I also make sure to have the best lip balms. I am going to try this one out.
